Criminal Records (CRB) Check
It is becoming increasingly important, and often a matter of compliance, to conduct criminal record checks on new employees and existing staff.
PeopleCheck is a registered umbrella body with the UK Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). This enables us to conduct CRB checks for our clients.
CRB checks are particularly important to organisations who are hiring people within the following sectors: financial services, education, healthcare, government, security, charities, law and accountancy.
PeopleCheck makes conducting a CRB check into a simple process. We will guide you through the rules and regulations involved with the process and the handling of information. Once you have engaged PeopleCheck as your CRB partner we will provide you with CRB application forms. We will then guide you through the entire process. This begins by the person being checked completing the form. Once the form is properly filled in you will then check the identity of the person and send the completed form back to us. We will process it on your behalf and send a result directly to you once completed. At present the turnaround time is approximately 6-10 working days.
